Sorry for the teaser guys, but the full review will be up when I get back from the Cayman Islands after I complete my underwater testing. Thanks to Russell at EyeofMine Camera, I was able to test out the GoPro Hero HD. Because I haven't had enough time to fully evaluate it's full feature set, and because I am still waiting on the firmware upgrade, I am only going to post a quick video I made by testing out the Motorsport features.
I was sent a Roll Bar mount from EyeofMine. It's a step above the one that comes with the camera in the Motorsports kit. It uses a unique system of clamping to pretty much any size roll bar. It has replaceable clamp surfaces so you can choose exactly how big you want the diameter to fit. It also comes with two different thickness rubber pads which you can use to custom fit any bar-like shape. It's an ingenious design and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use the GoPro Hero HD with a roll bar or roll cage. I used it to film the "M Roadster" portion of the clip and mounted it to the passenger roll hoop on the car.
