Akasa Everest Notebook Cooler Review

E-mail Print PDF

I'm not too big of a laptop user because of three reasons: heat, battery life, and performance.  Some other minor reasons include lack of drive space and ports.  My old Dell Vostro 1500 equipped with the nVidia GeForce 8600 GT (fast for its time) gets very hot-- so hot in fact that if I use it on my lap it can give me red marks from the heat.  A great solution to the heat problem as well as adding ports and potentially even drive space is the Akasa Everest notebook cooler.

New Potato Technologies FLPR iPhone Universal Remote Review

E-mail Print PDF

GoPro Hero HD Impressions/EyeofMine Roll Bar Mount

E-mail Print PDF

Sorry for the teaser guys, but the full review will be up when I get back from the Cayman Islands after I complete my underwater testing.  Thanks to Russell at EyeofMine Camera, I was able to test out the GoPro Hero HD.  Because I haven't had enough time to fully evaluate it's full feature set, and because I am still waiting on the firmware upgrade, I am only going to post a quick video I made by testing out the Motorsport features.
