Kyle M. Loh is a senior at Rutgers University, graduating in May 2010 with a Bachelor's in Cell Biology & Neuroscience. He has been accepted to Stanford University School of Medicine for PhD studies in developmental biology starting in Fall 2010.

During his undergraduate education, he did stem cell research at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute in the laboratories of Dr. Doug Melton (Director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute) and Dr. Kevin Eggan (Assistant Professor, Harvard University). He also worked in the laboratory of Dr. Dale Woodbury (Director of the Ira B. Black Center for Stem Cell Research) at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and at the laboratory of Dr. John Langenfeld (Chief of Thoracic Surgery) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. In Summer 2010, he will be working in the laboratory of Dr. Bing Lim (Associate Director of the Genome Institute of Singapore) at the Genome Institute of Singapore/Biopolis.

His current research interests are in: (1) lineage reprogramming and (2) the role of adult stem cells in human aging, cancer, and regeneration.
